Our Faculty of Letters aims at a profile of students who are aware of the cultural values of the society we live in and seek answers to them. In today’s world, social sciences are extremely important both to be aware of the various issues that Türkiye faces and to understand the social structure. Our aim is to get a distinguished place with our graduates who are well educated for the academic career and are aware of the values of the past in the line that extends to the future by not ignoring the developments in the world.
Admitting its first students in the 2019-2020 academic year, our faculty aims at educating qualified teachers by synthesizing modern approaches with Türkiye’s rich experience in teacher training. In the 2020-2021 academic year, our faculty, which will offer education with five undergraduate programs, will contribute to the training of qualified teachers, researchers and academicians that Türkiye needs in different branches with the addition of new departments in the upcoming years.
The main aim of Istanbul 29 Mayıs University Faculty of Law is to comprehend the essence and evolution of the rules of law and to train lawyers and experts who believe in the rule of law, and have the skills to identify and analyze new legal issues occurring in the globalizing world. As a result of the in-depth studies to be carried out within the scope of the program, it is aimed that our students can offer a diversity of justification in the decisions, works and examinations related to the principles and procedures that form the basis of the legal discipline.
The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences primarily aims at training students as individuals who can think critically, do research, question, have a sense of responsibility, and respect beliefs and ethical values. Accordingly, we aim to educate our students as graduates who master the basis of their field and have the qualifications required by the academic studies, life, and profession.
The undergraduate programs in our faculty aim to train students who know the sources, history, and issues of Islamic studies, take advantage of the knowledge of different disciplines, analyze the past and the present scientifically in a proper way and understand them, and have the qualifications required in scientific studies, the occupation, and life.
Our institute aims to train competent researchers and scientists who will contribute to the scientific accumulation of humanity through original research. We consider it essential to create a vibrant academic environment that will provide the basis for the continuous development of our students for the performance of this task through the courses given by our qualified academic staff, projects carried out in different platforms, national and international seminars, symposiums, conferences and workshops, and colloquiums that are open to our graduate students.
Our school, which has managed to be one of the first institutions that come to mind in language learning, aims to see itself in a place that is student-oriented, unique, that produces its own materials, has exemplary education standards, creates learning awareness for students, encourages students to develop themselves and provides creative and inspiring environment.
