Istanbul 29 Mayıs University's academic staff and students benefit from all facilities and opportunities provided by the library of the Center for Islamic Studies (ISAM), which is located at the Bağlarbaşı Campus. The university library aims to provide information in the best and the fastest way possible.
Since its establishment, great importance has been attached to the library and documentation services at our university, and the continuous development of this unit has been one of the main policies of the institution. As a matter of fact, in the reports of “Foundation Higher Education Institutions 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021” published by the Higher Education Council, it can be seen that the university has the highest number of printed books per student among all foundation universities in Turkey.
Our library in the Ümraniye Elmalıkent campus has a closed area exceeding 10.000 m2 on three floors. 1.000.000 volumes of books and 1.500-person seating capacity, group study rooms, audio-silent study sections, seminar rooms, etc. have been designed to create an attractive atmosphere of science, ideas and art for students and researchers.
Our library provides a high level of service to support education and scientific research and development activities with approximately 116.000 volumes of books and 210.000 electronic books (e-books) and 20.145 volumes / issues of 1132 journals.
