Lect. Ahmet Selimoğlu, born in Syria in 1987, completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Theology, University of Damascus. He subsequently obtained his master’s degree in Orientalism from the Faculty of Theology at Marmara University, where he is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in Basic Islamic Sciences.
Throughout his academic career, Selimoğlu has acquired substantial teaching experience. He worked as a teacher in public high schools in Syria and, between 2017 and 2020, taught Arabic at Imam Hatip High Schools in Türkiye. In addition, he was awarded first place in a model lesson competition organized by the International Curricula institution.
Since 2023, he has been serving as a Lecturer in the Arabic Preparatory Program at the School of Foreign Languages at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University, where he continues his academic and teaching activities.
