Lect. Betül Sultan was born in Aleppo, Syria. She graduated from the University of Aleppo, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Department of Arabic Language and Literature in 2002. Following her undergraduate studies, she obtained a Pedagogical Formation Diploma from the same university’s Faculty of Education.
She completed her Master’s degree in Arabic Language and Balagha (Rhetoric) within the field of Basic Islamic Sciences at Ondokuz Mayıs University. She is currently a doctoral candidate, pursuing her PhD studies in the Department of Arabic Language at the same institution.
Sultan began her professional teaching career in Syria in 2004. Her professional background includes serving as the Director of the Future Academy of Education, Development, and Languages in Istanbul. Between 2017 and 2022, she specialized in teaching Arabic as a foreign language at Ondokuz Mayıs University.
As of 2023, she serves as a Lecturer within the Arabic Preparatory Program at the Istanbul 29 Mayıs University, School of Foreign Languages.
