He graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Arabic Language and Literature in 1989. He received his master's (1997) and doctorate (2002) degrees in Arabic Language and Rhetoric at Marmara University. He completed his master's degree in International Relations at Beykent University in 2005. Between 1989 and 2014 he taught Arabic at the K.Klığı Language School. He has 26 printed works in the field of Arabic teaching. He taught Turkish to Syrian students for one year in 2008.
