Asst. Prof. Lütfullah ÇELİKTEN graduated from the Primary Education Program in the Department of Elementary Education at the Faculty of Education, Ondokuz Mayıs University, in 2009. He completed his master’s degree at the Department of Primary Education, Institute of Educational Sciences, Niğde University, in 2015 with his thesis titled “The Relationship between Primary School Teachers’ Global Citizenship Levels and Their Views on the Values They Wish to Transmit to Students.”
In 2016, he enrolled in the Primary Education Program within the Department of Primary Education at the Institute of Educational Sciences, Marmara University. He completed his doctoral studies in 2020 with his dissertation titled “The Development of the Marmara Financial Literacy Program and the Examination of Its Effect on the Financial Literacy Skills of Fourth-Grade Primary School Students.”
Between 2016 and 2022, Dr. Çelikten served as a faculty member in the Child Development Program at Plato Vocational School, İstanbul Topkapı University. During this period, he held various academic and administrative positions, including Head of the Department of Child Care and Youth Services.
Since June 2022, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Primary Education, Department of Primary Education, Faculty of Education, İstanbul 29 Mayıs University. His research interests include social studies in primary education, life studies, and sociology of education.
