Lect. Mahir İpek is a graduate of Arabic Language and Literature. He earned his Master’s degree from Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University with a thesis focused on “Word Rhetoric in the Qur’an.”
With extensive experience in Arabic language pedagogy, İpek specializes in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (TAFL). His professional contributions include curriculum development and the design of instructional materials. Since 2011, he has been serving as a Lecturer in the Arabic Preparatory Program at the School of Foreign Languages, Istanbul 29 Mayıs University.
Prior to joining the university, İpek held various educational and editorial positions in Damascus and Abu Dhabi. His area of expertise involves the analysis of Classical and Modern Arabic texts, and he continues to contribute to the field through his teaching and academic publications.
