Muhammet MEMIC received his BSc (2012), MSc (2015), and PhD (2024) degrees in the Department of Physics at Boğaziçi University. He worked as a research assistant in the department of Physics at Boğaziçi University between 2014 and 2022.
His MSc research focused on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) physics and diffusion-based signal modeling, with particular emphasis on the characterization of biological tissue microstructure using magnetic resonance techniques.
His PhD research is in observational astrophysics, focusing on the study of galactic nebular structures (supernova remnants, HII regions, and planetary nebulae) using photometric and spectroscopic methods, and on the identification and classification of these structures through the application of machine learning approaches.
