Lect. Razan Sakkal graduated with high distinction from the Faculty of Theology at the University of Damascus in 2008. She began her academic career in 2010 when she was appointed as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Theology, University of Aleppo. She later pursued her graduate studies in Türkiye, earning her Master’s degree from the Faculty of Theology at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. Currently, she is a doctoral candidate in the PhD program in Basic Islamic Sciences at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University.

Throughout her professional career, Sakkal has accumulated extensive teaching experience, serving at various Arab international schools and Imam Hatip High Schools in Türkiye between 2015 and 2024. In addition to her teaching role, she is a published author; her book, Foundations of Scientific Methodology in the Qur’an, was published in both Arabic and English by the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) in the USA.

Since 2025, she has been serving as a Lecturer in the Arabic Preparatory Program at the School of Foreign Languages, Istanbul 29 Mayıs University. Her academic interests and professional expertise encompass Basic Islamic Sciences, Quranic studies, and the development of methodologies for scientific inquiry and language instruction.
